Overview
Google Analytics is a platform that allows you to collect data from your website, providing you with useful insights on traffic, engagement, and other data.
If you would like to set up Google Analytics for your BoomTown website, you will need to first set up your analytics data collection within your Google account. To get started, visit Google's Analytics Support page and follow the steps provided.
Adding Your Google Analytics Identifier
When you've completed the steps above and have created your Analytics account, you will need to add your personal identifier provided by Google in order to start collecting data on your BoomTown website.
Log into your BoomTown account and navigate to Tools > Customize Website.
On the main website customization page, select Launch Wordpress to open the editor in a new tab.
Within Wordpress, select Site Settings from the left hand menu.
On the next page that appears, add your Google Analytics Identifier within the Google Analytics field. If you're not sure where to find your identifier, you can review Google's support article. Be sure to click on Update to save your changes.
