Clearing Cache on Your PC

Sometimes old data can be cached in your browser that causes trouble or inconsistencies on websites including, but not limited to:

  1. Blank web pages

  2. Videos not playing correctly

  3. Webpages opening slowly or being non-responsive

  4. Web pages not displaying new information


Due to this, if you're running into strange displays or behavior on your front-end BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com, a good first step in troubleshooting is to try clearing the cookies and cache in your browser!

Depending upon your browser, the process will be slightly different, so details for each are outlined below.

If you're unsure which browser you're using, this site can help provide you with the information!

Internet Explorer

  1. On your keyboard, select and hold the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys while viewing Internet Explorer.

  2. A pop-up window will display with checkboxes -- select the check boxes next to only Temporary Internet files and website files and Cookies and website data.

  3. Click the Delete button and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  4. Close out of the Internet Explorer browser completely and then open up a new window.

  5. Access your front-end BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!


Microsoft Edge

  1. On your keyboard, select and hold the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys while viewing Edge.

  2. A pop-up window will display along the right-hand side of the page with check boxes -- select the check boxes next to only Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files.

  3. Click the Clear button and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  4. Close out of the Edge browser completely and then open up a new window.

  5. Access your front-end BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!

Firefox for Windows

  1. On your keyboard, select and hold the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys while viewing Firefox.

  2. A pop-up window will display with check boxes -- select the check boxes next to only Cookies and Cache.

  3. In the Time range to clear drop-down, select Everything.

  4. Click the Clear Now button and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  5. Close out of the Firefox browser completely and then open up a new window.

  6. Access your front-end BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!

Google Chrome for Windows

  1. On your keyboard, select and hold the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys while viewing Chrome.

  2. A pop-up window will display with check boxes -- select the check boxes next to only Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  3. In the Time range drop-down, select All time.

  4. Click the Clear Data button and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  5. Close out of the Chrome browser completely and then open up a new window.

  6. Access your front-end BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!

Safari for Mac

  1. On your keyboard, select and hold the Command + comma (,) keys while viewing Safari.

  2. A pop-up window will display- select the option for Privacy.

  3. Once on this page of the pop-up, choose the button for Manage Website Data.

  4. In the screen that displays, if you just want to clear the cache for BoomTown sites, search for and select just leads.boomtownroi.com and your BoomTown website. Then select the Remove button.

  5. If you'd instead like to clear all the data for all the websites you've visited, choose Remove All, then the Remove Now button, and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  6. Close out of the Safari browser completely and then open up a new window.

  7. Access your BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!


Firefox for Mac

  1. In Firefox, navigate to the three bars at the top right of your browser and click Preference from the dropdown menu.

  2. On the next page, select Privacy & Settings.

  3. Click the option to Clear Data.

  4. A pop-up will display with two checkboxes for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content. Check both.

  5. Click Clear and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  6. Close out of the Firefox browser completely and then open up a new window.

  7. Access your BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!

Google Chrome for Mac

  1. In Chrome, click the three dots at the top right corner of your browser and select Settings.

  2. On the next page, scroll down and click Advanced to display additional settings.

  3. Select the option for Clear browsing data.

  4. In the pop-up, you'll see three options: Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files. Check all three.

  5. Click Clear data and wait for any loading that needs to take place.

  6. Close out of the Chrome browser completely and then open up a new window.

  7. Access your BoomTown website or leads.boomtownroi.com again, and the trouble should be resolved!
