[Troubleshooting] Another Agent's Photo Displays

Overview

When you're accessing your team's website by jumping from listing information within the CRM -- whether within a specific lead's profile page, through Lead Central, etc. -- even though you're logged into your BoomTown account at leads.boomtownroi.com when selecting the link, this is separate from being logged in as a lead account on the front-end website.

Due to this, when you access a link in the CRM and you're redirected to your front-end website (unless you're logged into a test lead account), you'll be seeing the information on the site from the perspective of an unregistered lead.


Viewing Site as an Unregistered Lead

This is the default setting for viewing your team's website, and the way to tell that this is the perspective you're viewing the site from is whether or not the Sign In option is showing in the top, right-hand corner of the page.




If the Sign In button displays in the corner of your team's website, this means that you are not signed into any lead account, and are therefore seeing the site as an unregistered lead.

Since the site is designed to assign unregistered leads to the next Agent in your team's rotation through the registration, if you access the site as an unregistered/not logged in lead, or you click on the property links within the lead's profile, you will see whichever Agent is next in the lead rotation within the Full Details listing pages on the website.

Once registered as a lead, like your assigned leads are, they will ONLY see your information on Full Details pages and throughout the website when they're signed into their account.

Once you register, you can go back to your team's website and click a few properties. As long as you are logged in as your test lead on the website, you should see yourself on the listing Full Details pages!

We encourage remaining logged in as the test lead on your team's website, so that moving forward, when you view listings in the CRM, you'll see your own information on the Full Details pages!


​Logged In as a Test Lead

Sometimes when you jump to the front-end website, the reason you're seeing another Agent is because you're logged into a test lead account assigned to another Agent. This is more rare, but the way to determine this is to view the top, right-hand corner of the page, to see if you see a name included, such as in the screenshot below.


If you see a name included here, it means that you are logged into a test lead account, and if you're seeing an Agent other than yourself, it's likely that when you registered on your team's website, you were assigned to that Agent in the rotation.

To fix this, you can simply reach out to a Broker/Admin user on your team, or the Agent that's displaying on the website, to see about having the test lead account transferred to you as the assigned Agent.

After your test lead has been transferred, refresh the website in your browser while logged in as your test lead (and clear the browser cookies & cache, if necessary), and you should see your photo and contact information displayed just as your real leads do!

We encourage remaining logged in as the test lead on your team's website, so that moving forward, when you view listings in the CRM, you'll see your own information on the Full Details pages!
