So much opportunity to go after the keywords that are the most important to your Business. Likely those keywords surrounding: Cities, Neighborhoods, Realtor, Real Estate, Homes for Sale, Company Name and more -- in a very natural, non keyword-stuffed way!

Use The SEO Options in WordPress!

The SEO Options are found within WordPress on the page in which you are looking to edit, add content, etc-- right below the fold. Herein, a client can manipulate the Title Tag and Meta Description of a page. Below is a short video on the SEO Options, and below it is how those will translate to Google!


To do your part to win the SEO game, it's best to not think about just about SEO. Think about optimizing for the people, and the search engine will follow suit. Please see our best SEO suggestions below:

  • Build out your agent page with information about yourself

  • Make sure your contact info is up-to-date and filled out

  • Unique to you; What sets you apart? Why work with you? Likes, favorite local spots, etc

  • Stats as to why you sell faster, for more dollars, any promises you make and deliver on

  • If you have a niche, speak to it

  • Include all ways to "connect with you"

  • Include a video

  • Include your listings

  • Add testimonials

  • Identify the social channels where your buyers or sellers are coming from and start networking with those people.

  • Promote yourself on Facebook and Google+ at the very least

  • Roughly 75% of real estate agents business comes from referrals and word of mouth

  • Humanize yourself, be available and respond quickly

  • Focus on on-page and off-page elements

  • Work on gaining reviews on all review platforms!!!

  • Make sure your NAP (name, address, and phone) your information about you and where you work is consistent everywhere

  • Where can you get a local mention (ie. another brand, another co-worker, local business, local newspaper)

  • Create an infographic or put together FAQ (a different spin on something) and share that on the brand site and link the call to your agent page to contact you

  • When you blog have the call-to-action go to your agent subdomain if appropriate

  • Use the blog best practices provided within the attachment when creating blog posts

  • When creating a post TITLE, use the address or a keyword that better explains the post

  • Second to that, this will help the URL string become more search friendly

  • Title tags should be no more than 55 characters, when possible

  • Meta descriptions should give insight into what your post is about and be no longer than 150 characters

  • Use categories and tags with a purpose (ie. Categories: Featured Listings, Buying, Selling, Tips) (ie. Tags: Boca Raton, FL, Swimming Pools)

  • From the brand level, with agents help, schedule out or create a content calendar

  • Emails to drive engagement

WHAT NOT TO DO:

  • Buy links to help drive traffic

  • Do not copy and paste content from another website and use as a post

  • Go overboard on tags for posts
