Get An Account with Real Synch
Real Synch is a system that acts as an intermediary for real estate platforms, to allow data between those platforms to be synced.
The integration with BoomTown allows users' contacts and communication activity from other platforms to sync back to BoomTown, and for information from BoomTown to sync to other platforms.
If you'd like to integrate your BoomTown account with Real Synch, the first step is to obtain an account with them!
Since they are a system independent from BoomTown, their services must be purchased separately. To learn more about Real Synch, and the services they offer, click below!
Connect Your Real Synch Account
Once you have a Real Synch account, you can connect it to BoomTown by either logging in directly to Real Synch, or by taking the following steps within your BoomTown account!
First navigate to your image & name in the upper right corner, and select the Integrations option from the drop-down menu.
On the Integrations page, scroll down to the Real Synch option toward the bottom of the page, and you'll see the following three buttons:
Support will take you to Real Synch's Support area, which includes details about how to set up the integration.
Sign-Up is where you could go to sign up for an account, if you don't already have Real Synch!
Log In will allow you, as long as you have an account with Real Synch, to log in and begin the integration set up process!
Select the Log In button, and you'll be directed to a sign in page on Real Synch, where you can enter the log in credentials for your Real Synch account!
Once logged in, within your Real Synch dashboard, select the + Add Integration button toward the top, right-hand corner.
You'll be taken to the New Synch page, where you'll have to complete four simple steps to connect the desired platform with your BoomTown account -- Source, Target, Connect, then Finish.
First, choose the Source that you'd like the data to come from (i.e. the platform that you'd like to pull data from, into BoomTown).
Then choose the Target -- which is the platform where you'd like the Source's data to populate -- in this case, it will be BoomTown.
Next, you'll need to connect the two selected accounts by entering an API key or your account login Credentials (this will differ depending upon the sources you've selected, but there should be instructions for each source as you go).
For BoomTown, select the Connect button, and you'll be prompted to Verify your account by logging in through the Real Synch pop-up modal.
You'll be redirected to your BoomTown account, where you can login, and then you'll need to select the Submit button on the page you're taken to in BoomTown.
From here, you'll be taken back to Real Synch, where you can close the BoomTown pop-up, and then select the Next button at the bottom of the page.
On the following page, review the details, and then select the Activate button at the bottom to complete the set up!
The set up will allow calls, emails, and text messages to flow back and forth between BoomTown and the connected system.
You can also elect to set BoomTown as your Source, should you instead want to have your BoomTown data sync to other platforms. The set up here will be the same, except that you will need to select BoomTown first with the Source prompt, instead of as the Target.
You can make changes to the notification settings and lead assignment for leads coming through a connection with platforms in Real Synch. These changes can be made directly in Real Synch, by selecting the specific synch you'd like to focus on -- and the options available for the settings will vary depending upon which platforms are sharing data.
