Requestor Roles Explained

Explains the three requestor account roles in Boostlingo: Root Requestor Admin, Default Administrator, and Requestor.

Written by Quinn Bott

Client accounts, also called requestor accounts, have 3 kinds of users:

Root Requestor Administrator - the first person invited to a requestor account is automatically the Root Requestor Admin. Each account is required to have at least one Root Requestor Admin at all times. Root Requestor Administrators can:

  • add or remove admin privileges from others

  • invite other admins/users

  • deactivate admins/users

  • make appointments and calls

Permissions cannot be adjusted for Root Administrators. If you need to swap Root status to another user, ask your account manager.

Note: It is not possible to hide Billing information from the Root Requestor Admin.

Default Administrator - is one step below Root Requestor Admins regarding privileges. Default Administrators can:

  • add or remove admin privileges from others

  • invite users

  • deactivate users

  • make appointments and calls

Admin privileges can be adjusted by using Custom Roles.

Requestor - has limited permissions primarily focused on interpretation services.

Users can:

  • make appointments and calls

  • cannot see call logs or appointments

Requestor privileges cannot be adjusted.

Getting Help

  • LSC admins: if a requestor user has the wrong level of access, confirm their user type and any assigned custom role, then reach out to Boostlingo Support with the account and user. If you’re unsure how to reach Support, contact your Account Manager.
