Clocking on & off

There are a few different ways for your people to clock on:

Employee dashboard

Employees can clock into their shifts via their dashboard as below. This will prompt for the location to be shared, so that geolocation is still traceable.

TimeClock via browser or central device

Once activated, the timeclock can appear on a central device as below.

The employees will select their name, and then their shift:

Enter the 4-digit PIN:

Then clock into your shift:

Once the TimeClock has been activated, it will then stay logged in for a period of 2 weeks.

Please Note: This will not give your team access to your Breathe account. If a user attempts to go back in, this will prompt them to log in again.

The People Portal Mobile app

Your team can also clock in and out via the People Portal Mobile app.

They will be able to clock into the available shift, or clock in and out when no shift is assigned (depending on settings). This will also track their location for geofencing purposes.

How to set up a PIN

To set up a pin for yourself, simply head to 'Preferences' within the menu bar in the Rota, Time & Attendance module.

You'll land on a page where you can choose your PIN.

Setting a PIN for someone else

To set up the pin for another employee, you will need to be a Line Manager, HR or Admin user.

If you have these permissions, head to the main menu bar in Rota, Time & Attendance and click 'People'. Click on the person's name, and in the top-right corner you'll see 10 dots (see below). Click this to set up their pin.
