Let's say that you have a company with multiple divisions or sites and you are wanting to restrict the amount of people that can request and have leave approved at any one time. Is this possible within Breathe?

This is not something that is possible within Breathe I am afraid.

Whilst there isn't necessarily a way to restrict the amount of people requesting leave at any one time, there are a number of ways that this is managed.

When a user submits a leave request, it goes through to the approval process. This is usually managed by their holiday approver (who will receive an email notification) or secondary approvers (LM, HR or the Admin) will see this on their dashboard.

To make sure that you do not have too many people from each team off at once, when approving leave, you will be presented with a view of the holiday calendar and the leave that is currently booked at the same time:

The only way to restrict all leave for a specific amount of time on Breathe is by using the company blackout option. This can be done by following the pathway: Configure > Settings > Absence settings > Company blackouts.
