When a booking contains an experience linked to a partner, a Partner payouts section appears in the booking below the Itinerary Builder. This gives you a clear breakdown of the financials for each partner involved in the trip.
What the Partner Payouts table shows
Partner trip total — The full subtotal for the partner-linked experience.
Commissionable — The portion of the total that your commission applies to.
Non-commissionable — Any portion excluded from commission calculations.
Your commission — The amount you keep based on your commission rate with that partner.
Partner payouts — The amount owed to the partner after your commission is taken.
If a booking has multiple partner-linked experiences, each partner will appear as its own row in the table with a combined total at the top.
Commission modes
Each partner line in Manage commissions can be set to one of three modes:
% (Percent) — Your commission is a percentage of the line item's sale price. This is the standard choice.
$ (Flat) — Your commission is a fixed dollar amount, regardless of the sale price.
CRV (Commissionable Retail Value) — Your commission is a percentage of a custom basis you enter, rather than the sale price. Use this when the commissionable amount differs from what the client pays — for example, a rate net of lodging taxes, or a negotiated rack rate. You can enter the basis as a dollar figure and Brindlechute will show the implied percentage.
The Non-commissionable column in the Partner Payouts table shows any portion of the total that commission is not applied to.
💡 Tip: CRV changes what your commission is calculated on, not what the client is charged or what the partner receives. To reduce a partner's payout, apply a discount to the line item instead — see Apply a Discount to a Partner-Linked Experience.
