Once you confirm a cancellation, Brindlechute updates the booking, your calendar, and any scheduled payments. Canceling can't be undone. To cancel a booking, see How To Cancel a Booking.
Calendar and Bookings
The trip is removed from your calendar.
The booking is marked as canceled in your Bookings tab, so you keep a record of it.
Payments and Refunds
Any scheduled automatic charges for the booking are canceled. See How Trip Changes Affect Scheduled Payments.
No money is returned unless you chose Refund the client and cancel the booking and entered a refund amount.
If you canceled without refunding, you can still refund later. See Refund a booking after cancelling without a refund.
Client Notifications
For confirmed bookings, the client receives a cancellation email unless you checked Don't send cancellation email.
Canceling a draft booking never sends a client notification.
The cancellation is logged in the booking's communication history.
Guide Reports
Any guide report submitted for the trip is deleted, since the guide hasn't been paid for it.
Notes
Notes stay editable. You can still add or update Client Notes, Private Notes, and Guide Notes on a canceled booking. See Adding Notes to a Canceled Booking.
