You can create a group class from Services. Group classes and workshops are both managed here — check the Type column to tell them apart.
Steps
Step 1: start a new class
Go to Services > Classes (the default tab), then select Create a class.
Step 2: class setup
Choose Group class as the type. Add a name, a category, a description, a cover image, and a colour tag.
The category is only used to organise your memberships — clients don't see it.
Step 3: booking rules
Set the booking opening window, the closing window, and the late cancellation window. Turn on auto-cancellation if you want classes with no bookings to be cancelled automatically.
Select Create.
What hasn't changed
Linking memberships to your class works the same way as before.
Once saved, schedule your class in the calendar — see Create, edit, cancel, or delete your classes.
FAQ
What's the difference between workshops and group classes?
Group classes are classes with multiple participants that appear in the weekly schedule on your website or app. Workshops are featured separately and can be one-off, recurring, or part of a series.
What happens when I turn on auto-cancellation?
The class is cancelled automatically as soon as it drops below the booking threshold you've set — for example, one booking or fewer, six hours before the start. Credits are refunded automatically, and an email is sent to the class instructor, the client, and all Owner or Administrator accounts.
Can I change a class's type after it's been created?
No — you can't change the type once a class has been created. You'll need to create a new class from the Classes tab on the Services page.
