Series let you create and manage groups of classes sold together as a single product — previously known as "bundled sessions". They're designed for studios that want to offer multi-class programmes running over several weeks, months, or a year. This article explains how to create one.

Before you start
Series are created from workshops. You can create them from Services > Classes — select Workshop as the class type when creating a new class.

Step 1 — Open the Series tab

Go to Calendar > Series to add a series to the calendar, then select Add a series.

Step 2 — Choose a class

Select the class the series will be based on. Only classes of type Workshop can be used, and this can't be changed once the series is created — double-check it's the right class.

Step 3 — Configure the series

Name the series and set:

Type — select a type: full series, open series, or single class. This appears in the Type column of the series list — see Series types for what each one does.
Visibility — Published or Unpublished.
Level — defaults to All levels.

Default values are already set for level, visibility, credit price, duration, and number of spots (All levels, Published, 1 credit, 1 hour, 10 spots), so most fields won't need changing. Tags are optional and can be found under Advanced.

Step 4 — Add classes

Add each class to the series, one-off or recurring. As you add classes, a live counter shows how many will be added (for example, "14 classes will be added"), and an editable list displays each class so you can review them or remove any before saving.

💡 If a recurring class's date doesn't fall on any of the selected days of the week, the setup shows you the actual date of the first class instead of silently changing it — adjust the date or the selected days if you want the series to start earlier.

Step 5 — Save

Select Add a series to finish. There's no preview and confirmation step — the classes are created immediately.

You can only create one series at a time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I review the classes before they're saved?
No — the list in step 4 is editable, but selecting Add a series creates the classes immediately. You can then edit or delete individual classes from the Classes tab.

Can I create a recurring series the way I used to?
No — each setup creates one series at a time. Duplicate the series afterwards if you want to create a similar one.

Which class types can a series be based on?
Only classes of type Workshop.

What happens if I chose the wrong class in step 2?
The class is locked once the series is created. You'll need to create a new series with the correct class.

Creating a series
