Stripe verification: what Stripe may ask for, by country

Why Stripe asks you to verify your business, how to complete it from bsport, and the documents accepted in each country.

Stripe, our payment provider, has to verify every business that receives payments. It can ask you for information when you open your account and again later, for example when regulations change or your details change. Until the verification is done, your payouts and card payments can be paused.

How to complete a verification

  1. Log in to your Back Office. A pop-up shows what's missing.

  2. Click Update my information on Stripe. You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe page.

  3. Fill in the fields or upload the documents requested, then submit.

  4. Stripe usually reviews within a few hours. The pop-up disappears once it's confirmed.

⚠️ Your payout IBAN can't be changed from the Back Office. If Stripe asks for a new bank account, contact us in the chat (main account holder only). See Change your bank account details.

What every country needs

  • Business profile: your activity, website and support contact.

  • Company tax ID: SIRET, VAT number or the equivalent in your country.

  • Legal representative: a valid passport or national ID card of the director or owner.

  • Business document: an official document from your company registry or tax authority.

Common questions

I submitted my documents but the pop-up is still there

If your account shows "under review", Stripe has received your documents. The pop-up disappears once they're confirmed, usually within a few hours.

Stripe rejected my document

Check that it is recent, readable, shows the full page and matches the company name on your account. Then upload it again from the same pop-up.

I'm stuck

Contact us in the chat with a screenshot of the Stripe message. We'll tell you exactly what's missing.
