Manage your notifications

This article will allow you to set up all your notifications from the notification center.

1st Step : Create notifications

Click on "Marketing" > "Notifications" > "Add a notification".


Choose which element you want to put a notification on:

  • Birthday

  • Group activities

  • Workshop

  • Establishment

  • Location

  • Appointments

  • Subscription

  • Appointment passes

Select, for example, the type of activity for a group class.

Fill in the notification form :

  • Choose if you want to notify whether the booking is valid or canceled

  • Choose if you want the member to get notified whether when he is present or when he is absent

  • Choose whether you want him to be notified for every session or for a specific one.

  • Choose if you want the notification to be sent before or after the session

  • Decide how many hours before or after you want the notification to be sent

  • Select the email template that will be sent

It is also possible to disable previously made notifications. To do so, untick the button on the right of the rule.

2nd Step : Modify or delete a notification rule.

Your rule appears now on the left of your screen.

Click on it > Click on :

  • "Edit rule" if you want to change a setting of your rule

  • "Delete rule" if you want the notification to be stopped.

Set up your notifications more precisely with smartlists:

And if you want to target your communications more precisely, you can filter the members who will receive the communication thanks to smartlist. You can choose that only the members present in the smartlist will receive the notification or conversely by excluding all the members of a smartlist.

In each of the notification rules, you can set which smartlists you want to include or exclude from the notification.

  • If you enter smartlists in "Do not send mail if member belongs to one of the following lists", members of the selected smartlists will not receive the notification

  • If you enter smartlists in "Send an email only if the member belongs to one of the following lists", only the members of the selected smartlists will receive the notification

  • If a member belongs to a smartlist excluded AND included from the notification, then he will not receive the notification

  • Finally, if you don't select a smartlist, the notification will be sent to all your members.
