You can set up automatic notifications for your subscriptions, and thus create marketing communications at the beginning or end of a subscription. For example, you can use these notifications to remind a member whose subscription is about to expire and thus encourage them to subscribe again.

Create a notification from the marketing tab:

Marketing > Notifications > Add a notification > Subscription

Select the subscription on which you wish to create a notification.

Configure the desired type of sending according to the following settings:

  • Status to be notified

    • Start of subscription

    • End of subscription

  • Triggering event

    • If the status to be notified is the start of the subscription:

      • Subscription creation: notification will be sent when a member subscribes

      • First invoice: notification will be sent when the subscription starts

      • A subscription can start at a future date. That's why these two events are differentiated

  • Type of notification

  • Sending method

  • Choice of email template

Congratulations, your notification is set up and now appears in the subscription section.

Create a notification from the Subscriptions tab:

Products > Subscriptions > Choose the subscription on which you want to set up a notification > Add a notification

Set up your notification as before.

Your notification has been created and now appears on the subscription details.

On the subscriptions homepage, a bell icon appears on subscriptions for which a notification has been set up.

Tailor notifications for your session or appointment passes included in a subscription:

When you create a notification for a session or appointment pass, you have the option to choose whether or not to send that notification when the pass has been obtained in a subscription.

In Marketing > Notifications > Add a Notification > Passes or Appointment Passes > Choose the desired pass.

If the option is selected, the pass notification will not be sent when it has been obtained from a subscription.

Example of using this setting:

You have a pass available for purchase individually and in a subscription. If you would like to remind your members who bought the pass individually when it runs out of credit, you can set up a notification on the pass when it reaches 0 credit.

  • If the option is deactivated, your members who took the pass in a subscription will receive the notification to buy a new pass even if it is automatically billed again with the subscription.

  • If the option is activated, your members who took the pass in a subscription will only receive notifications related to the subscription. And members who took the pass individually will receive notifications related to the pass.

You can also change this setting on existing notifications.
