How do I completely remove a cancelled session/class from the calendar?

This article will show you how to completely delete a cancelled session from the calendar. This article now covers both the new Back Office and the previous Back Office.

Step 1: Cancel sessions

When we have created a recurrence in a session and members have signed up for future sessions, even if the session has been cancelled, it still appears in the calendar


First, you will need to cancel the session you wish to delete.

Click on the session > Cancel

This tab appears, where you can click on the two options:

  • Send a notification to all members who booked in

  • Cancel similar sessions



Confirm


Step 2: Delete session completely from your calendar

Sessions have already been cancelled. They have now be completely removed from the calendar.

Click on ''Delete''


This tab will be displayed. Click on the option ''Would you like to delete similar sessions?


Open the Advanced section > Click on the option ''Delete all sessions including the associated bookings'' > Confirm


Attention to the following message!: Bookings will permanently be deleted. If you haven't refunded members' credits, they will be lost entirely. Please carefully review the bookings before deleting them.


The session has been completely removed from your calendar!

What changed in the new Back Office

Permanently delete a cancelled class from the per-row 3-dot menu — this option only appears for cancelled classes.

Select the 3 dots on the cancelled class's row, then select Permanently delete.

What hasn't changed

Deleting a class is still permanent and can't be undone — the class won't reappear in the calendar afterwards.
