If the transactional notifications are activated in Settings > Transactional notifications, two reminders will be sent to your members via email when the payment method used for the billing of their subscription or payment by installment is going to expire.

The first warning will be sent by default 30 days before the payment method expires, reminding the member to update it in their member profile.

The second warning will be sent by default 5 days before the payment method expires.

Note that if the member updates their payment method after receiving the first reminder and before receiving the second one, they will not receive the second notification

You can customize the number of days before expiration which is to be taken into account when sending the first and second reminder to the member in Settings > Payment methods > Recurring payments

Enter the number of days that you wish to use and click on Save

Note that the members will receive as many reminders as they have subscriptions or payments by installment that have at least 1 planned payment.
For example, if a member has 2 subscriptions using the same payment method, they will receive the first (and second) reminder twice, specifying the name of the subscriptions in each email.
