We launched the Safety Bubble to help sitters and parents feel supported. We want to ensure that you are provided with all the resources you may need in case of an emergency or to help you feel safer.

We’ve added all the emergency numbers you may need during a sit in case anything goes wrong.

Emergency Services

Parent’s Emergency Contact

Parents now have an emergency contact which you’ll be able to contact in case of an emergency when you are unable to get through to the parent.

Ping your sit details to a trusted contact, including the address and times that you’re working. You can use this during your sit (and three hours before) for extra peace of mind.

Here, you can read through our Safeguarding advice and First Aid Basics to improve your knowledge in these areas going into a sit.

Safeguarding Advice - Our safeguarding module will educate you on measures to protect the health, well-being and human rights of individuals, which allow people — especially children, and young people — to live free from abuse, harm and neglect.

First Aid Basics - Learn the First Aid Basics with us so you'll be equipped before a situation arises. If a medical emergency comes up during a sit and you haven't taken this course already, the best thing to do would be to call 111 and contact the parents or their emergency contact.

Sit Insurance - Your sits are insured through us. To better understand how your sit is covered you can read our help article here.
