Overview
To start using Buenro, you’ll need to create an account through the iOS app. Once you sign up, you can explore properties, join groups, curate bookings, and manage your travel profile — all from your phone.
Buenro is built for real people meeting and living together in the real world. Every new member verifies their email and phone before joining to keep the community safe and authentic.
1. Who Can Create an Account
To sign up, you must:
Be 21 years or older
Have a valid email address
Agree to Buenro’s [Terms of Use] and [Privacy Policy]
Some future features may also require identity verification (KYC — Know Your Customer).
2. How to Create Your Account
Download the Buenro app from the App Store (iOS only).
Tap Sign Up.
Choose one of the following sign-up methods:
Email
Apple ID
Enter your:
Full name (your real name — Buenro is for real people)
Date of birth
Email (if signing up via email)
Phone number (for verification)
Agree to the Terms and tap Continue.
Check your inbox for a verification email and tap Verify Email.
Then, enter the 6-digit code sent to your phone via SMS or WhatsApp.
Note: Buenro uses verification codes instead of passwords. This keeps your account secure and easier to recover.
3. After You Sign Up
Once you’ve created your account:
You’ll go straight into onboarding (no waitlist).
You can set up your profile — add a photo, location, and basic info.
If you were invited by a friend or Curator, your group or invite will appear automatically.
You can start exploring your Timeline or House Dashboard.
Tip: Profile photo and gender are optional but help others recognize you in group bookings.
4. Invites and Joining Without a Waitlist
Buenro now uses a friend-invite system — you can join directly from a link sent via WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
✅ To join via invite link:
Tap the invite link.
Download the app if you haven’t already.
After installing, tap the same link again — this opens the app and connects you to your group instantly.
There’s no more waitlist or “backdoor” links — just direct invites.
5. Troubleshooting Signup or Invite Issues
Problem | What to Do |
Didn’t get your verification email? | Check spam/junk folders and confirm the email you used is correct. |
Didn’t get your phone code? | Try switching from WhatsApp to SMS, or check if your phone blocks international numbers. Wait 60 seconds before retrying. |
App won’t let you continue? | Restart your phone and make sure iOS is updated. |
Invite link doesn’t open the app? | Copy the link and reopen it in Safari, or ask your Curator to resend it. |
Joined but can’t see your group? | Make sure you’re logged in with the same email that received the invite. |
Invite link opens but you stay on the waitlist | Delete and reinstall the app, then click the invite again. |
Link doesn’t work on Wi-Fi | Switch to mobile data and retry. |

Once your email and phone are verified, you can start connecting, exploring, and planning trips together — no waitlist, no friction.
