What are the booking statuses?

This article explains each booking status and what it means for you.

Buenro bookings go through several stages, each with its own status label. These help you understand where your group stands, whether you're still gathering members or fully confirmed.


1. Requested / Reserved

  • You’ve joined a group, and your spot is held

  • Your payment method has been authorised (not charged)

  • The booking is still waiting for more members to join


2. Pending

  • The group hasn’t filled yet

  • All members have authorisations in place, but the group is still incomplete

  • You’ll see a countdown — typically 7 days — before the pending booking expires


3. Confirmed

  • The group is full and all payments have been captured

  • Your booking is officially confirmed

  • Property details, check-in info, and group chat will be fully unlocked


4. Cancelled

A booking can be cancelled if:

  • Someone drops out and no replacement is found

  • The group doesn’t complete before the countdown expires

  • The Property Manager or Curator cancels before check-in

You will not be charged if your booking is cancelled before confirmation.


5. Completed

  • The stay has occurred

  • You’ll be able to leave a review and reflect your experience

  • Credits may be applied depending on promotions or referrals
