Life happens — and if your plans change, Buenro gives you options to exit a group booking depending on the status of the reservation.
1. Can I Leave Before the Booking Is Confirmed?
Yes. If the group hasn’t completed and the booking is still pending:
You can leave the group at any time from the Booking Dashboard
Your payment authorisation will be released
No cancellation fees apply
The remaining group members can continue without you
This applies to both Guests and +1s.
2. What If the Booking Is Already Confirmed?
If the group is full and the booking has been confirmed:
Cancellation is subject to the Host/Property Manager’s cancellation policy
You may not receive a full refund, depending on the timing and policy terms
Check your booking confirmation or the property listing for the specific rules that apply
3. Can a +1 Cancel Independently?
Yes — but only before the booking is confirmed.
After confirmation:
The +1 must coordinate with their Inviter
The Inviter remains financially responsible for their +1’s share, even if the +1 drops out
4. What Happens to the Group If I Cancel?
Before confirmation:
Your spot opens up for someone else
The Curator is notified and may re-invite another person
After confirmation:
The booking continues without you
Your space or room may go unclaimed unless someone new joins
Any refund depends on the Property Manager’s cancellation policy
5. How Do I Cancel?
In the app:
Go to your Booking Dashboard / Tap on your profile see your Trip
Select the relevant reservation
Select “Cancel Reservation”
Confirm your decision
Buenro will send you a confirmation and release your payment hold (if still pending).
