Depending on your role (Curator, Guest, or +1), you’ll see different options for inviting, removing, and keeping track of members.
Here’s how to do that step by step.
1. Viewing Your Group
From the House Dashboard you can:
Open the Joined Guests card to see everyone in your group.
Members are grouped by label:
Curator – the person who created the booking.
Guests – those who joined directly.
+1s – people added by Guests.
Invited – people you’ve invited but who haven’t joined yet.
2. Inviting People After Booking
You can still add more members if there are rooms available:
Invite existing Buenro users from your contacts or previous groups.
Share a private invite link (via WhatsApp, SMS, or email).
Review your invite list before sending.
Guests can also invite +1s if allowed by the Curator.
3. Removing Guests
Curators can remove:
Invited Guests (requests declined) → these are removed silently, without a notification.
Joined Guests (while booking is pending) → these are removed with a notification. If that Guest has a +1, their +1 will also be removed automatically.
Guests can remove their own +1s.
👉 If you don’t see the option to remove someone, check your booking status — in some states, removal isn’t available.
4. Adjusting Reservation Privacy Settings (Curator only)
After checkout, Curators can change Reservation Privacy Settings to make the booking more visible (to attract joiners) or less visible (to restrict access).
Adjusting these settings may trigger notifications about room availability.
Only the Curator can change these settings.
5. If the Curator Cancels (Pending Booking)
If the booking is pending (not yet confirmed)
Guests will be notified through the House Dashboard.
Any Guest can choose to accept the Curator role and take responsibility for the group.
Only one Guest can accept this role.
When accepting, you’ll see the Curator Terms & Conditions and responsibilities before confirming.
If no Guest accepts the role within 24 hours, the booking will be automatically cancelled.
6. Staying Connected
Use the Group Chat in your House Dashboard to keep everyone aligned.
Messages appear under the Joined Guests card.
If you are removed from the group or cancel your spot, you will no longer have access to the chat.
Tips for Managing Groups Successfully
Check the House Dashboard regularly for updates and notifications.
Keep communication clear in the Group Chat.
As Curator, adjust Reservation Privacy Settings carefully — too many changes may confuse your group.
Remove inactive members early if deadlines are approaching.
