Buenro group stays are coordinated by users, not professional hosts. This means responsibilities are shared between the Curator, Guests, and any +1s who join. Knowing your role in the group helps everyone have a smooth, respectful experience.
1. The Curator
The Curator starts the group and takes on both legal and logistical responsibility for the booking..
They are responsible for:
Choosing the property and claiming initial rooms
Coordinating guests and +1s
Ensuring all group payments are submitted on time
Communicating with the property manager if needed
Reporting any damages or issues
Upholding house rules and making sure the group follows them
They are the primary contact point for Buenro and the Host/Property Manager.
2. Guests (Non-Curator)
Guests are users who join the group after it has been created. They are responsible for:
Paying their share of the booking cost
Respecting the house rules and Buenro's Terms of Use
Communicating within the group chat
Informing the Curator if any issues arise
Guests must also:
Only bring a +1 if the Curator allows it
Respect the property, house rules, and other guests
Check in and out at the agreed times
3. Inviters and +1s
An Inviter is a Guest who brings another person (a +1) and agrees to cover their booking costs.
The Inviter is responsible for:
Ensuring the +1 is aware of the property rules and platform expectations
Paying for both their own and the +1’s reservation share
Coordinating arrival and communication on behalf of their +1
The +1 is expected to:
Respect the group, property, and all house rules
Coordinate with the Inviter rather than directly with the Curator
Participate respectfully and follow Buenro’s guidelines
4. Shared Expectations for All
Regardless of role, all group members are expected to:
Act respectfully toward others
Keep shared spaces clean and safe
Avoid loud or disruptive behavior
Communicate clearly and promptly
Violations may result in removal from the platform, booking cancellation, or financial liability
