The Group Chat lets everyone in your booking stay connected and share updates in real time. It is available from the House Dashboard once a group has been created.
1. Accessing Group Chat
Open your House Dashboard.
In the Joined Guests card, tap the message icon.
This will take you to Messages > Groups tab > [Your Group].
Tap Back to return to the House Dashboard at any time.
2. Who Can Use Group Chat
Curators, Guests, and +1s in a booking can all use Group Chat.
If you cancel your place in the group or are removed, you will no longer have access to the chat.
If you are not part of a group, the chat will be disabled and you’ll see a cancelled booking message instead.
3. Staying Connected
You can use Group Chat to:
Share travel details and updates with your group.
Confirm arrival times, room arrangements, or event plans.
Keep everyone aligned before and during the stay.
4. Notifications and Replies
Group Chat is part of the Buenro app’s Messages section.
New messages appear in your Messages tab, and you may also receive push notifications (if enabled).
If you are no longer a member of the group, you will not receive chat notifications.
5. Limitations
Group Chat is only available to active group members.
If the Curator cancels a pending booking and no one takes over, the booking (and chat) will be closed.
Chat is for communication between group members only — contacting the Property Host must be done separately from the House Dashboard.
Tips for Using Group Chat
Keep communication clear and respectful.
Use the chat to remind others about check-in times, house rules, or payment status.
If you have a concern about another member, use the in-app Help chat to reach Support.
