How do I connect My Amazfit via Zepp?

Use this article to connect your Amazfit to Healthy Cities via Zepp

Updated over 3 weeks ago

To connect your Amazfit to Healthy Cities via Zepp App, please follow the steps below:

  1. You must have an existing Zepp account prior to connecting. If you do not have one, please download the official Zepp app and create your account first.

  2. For your activity data to be shared, your Amazfit watch must be properly paired and actively syncing with the official Zepp app on your smartphone. The Healthy Cities app retrieves your data from your Zepp account.

  3. From your dashboard, select the menu bars in the top left corner

  4. Select Settings, and then scroll down and select Device

  5. Select Amazfit via Zepp from the list of devices

  6. Select Allow when prompted to give Healthy Cities access to your activity data

  7. Sign in with your Zepp account credentials.

  8. After successfully signing in, click the Allow button to grant permission to Terra service that helps Healthy Cities get access to your Zepp data.

Healthy Cities App uses Terra (https://tryterra.co/) that acts as a bridge to connect and retrieve data from Zepp App.
Users authentication is required for Terra API to retrieve data from wearable devices and share data with Healthy Cities App.

9. You'll now be prompted to reopen the Healthy Cities app and see a connection confirmation pop up on your screen. Select Okay to confirm.

Congratulations! Your Amazfit is now connected!

⚠️ Please note: It is important that native Zepp App on your device is active and remains in foreground to allow successful syncing of steps with Healthy Cities App.

If your latest activity is not getting reflected in the Healthy Cities app, open and refresh the native Zepp App and ensure steps are getting recorded. Post that Healthy Cities App would show your synced data too.

Currently, the integration with Amazfit via Zepp will only sync your daily steps and distance to the Healthy Cities app.

Connection issues are often caused by an outdated version of the Zepp app. We advise users to keep the Zepp app updated to the latest version and to ensure that all necessary data permissions have been granted to the Healthy Cities app.
