A virtual mailbox is a real US street address where BusinessAnywhere receives your mail and packages, scans them, and lets you manage everything online from one place. Instead of checking a physical mailbox, you log in to your dashboard, see new items, and choose what happens next. You can learn more and sign up on the BusinessAnywhere Virtual Mailbox page.
When mail arrives at your chosen address, our team logs it, uploads an envelope image to your account, and gives you options for each item. With a few clicks, you can request open-and-scan, forwarding to any address, storage for later, or secure shredding, and you can track the status directly in your dashboard.
Important
You cannot use your virtual mailbox address as a registered agent address for legal service of process. If you need a registered agent, use our registered agent service in the state where your company is formed.
β
You can use your virtual mailbox address for most business and personal mail, including banks, clients, and service providers, but not as a registered agent address for legal service of process. Because we operate under USPS rules, you must complete USPS Form 1583 with ID verification before we can legally accept and handle your mail, and you can do this entirely online using our Online Notary.
Required before we can receive your mail
Because we operate under USPS rules, you must complete USPS Form 1583 and ID verification for each recipient. This is what legally allows us to receive and handle your mail.
