How does mail handling work for my virtual mailbox?

We receive your mail, scan it into your dashboard, and you choose to view, forward, or shred it.

When mail arrives at your BusinessAnywhere virtual mailbox address, we automatically scan the envelope, open it, and scan all inside contents. You do not need to request an open-and-scan. The PDFs are uploaded to your dashboard, and you receive an email notification about the new mail with access to the scanned documents.

From your dashboard, you can:

  • View your scanned mail online

  • Download PDFs of your documents

  • Request forwarding to another address

All virtual mailbox plans include unlimited envelope scans, unlimited mail uploads, and 90 days of storage for each item.

If you do not request forwarding and the storage period ends, items are securely shredded according to our standard process. You can also request shredding earlier at any time from your dashboard if you no longer need a specific item.
