Posts in CampusESP need to be approved before they're visible to users. Users with full Platform Admin privileges have the ability to approve or reject posts made by Content Admins and other Platform Admins, as well as any posts provided by the CampusESP Content Network™.
NOTE: All CampusESP portals have an auto-approve window for new posts; your team decided on this timeframe during the implementation process. If a post is neither approved nor rejected during this window, it will automatically approve. If you'd like to adjust your portal's post auto-approve window, let us know at support@campusesp.com!
See pending posts
You can see pending posts in both your Performance Dashboard or from the Posts page.
Find pending posts on your Performance Dashboard
Navigate to your Performance Dashboard and look for the Posts Pending Approval widget. You'll see all posts waiting for approval. You can approve or reject the posts directly from the widget, or click the View # pending posts link to open the Pending Posts page.
Find pending posts on the Posts page
Navigate to the Posts page to see a list of all scheduled posts in chronological order. Posts pending approval will be listed among the posts on this page.
If you have a lot of posts scheduled, you may want to go straight to the Pending Posts page by clicking the Pending Approval tab to only see posts that have not yet been approved.
Review and approve the post
On either the Performance Dashboard or the Pending Posts page, use the Approve or Reject buttons under a post to approve or reject it.
NOTE: Posts provided by the CampusESP Content Network™ will also have Personalize with AI as a moderation option. Learn more about using our AI features to personalize content.
If you'd like to review the content of the post before approving, click the post title to open the Edit Post page. From here, you can make any edits you see fit, and use the Approve or Reject button to approve or reject the post.
💡 Pro Tip: If a post was mistakenly approved, or auto-approved before you had the chance to review it, use the Unapprove button on the Edit Post page to set its status back to pending.
