Why does the app show a different number than mine?
When you make a CaptionCall account, you are given a unique CaptionCall phone number which acts like a second phone inside your phone. You can find your CaptionCall number under your name in the side menu (top left):
The CaptionCall app will only caption all the calls that go through the CaptionCall number, however, you can continue using your usual phone number by setting up Call Forwarding and My Caller ID.
