What Is the Home Screen?
The home screen is the first thing you see after signing in. It provides a quick overview of:
Your learning progress
Courses that need attention
Recent activity
Quick ways to continue learning
Think of it as your personal dashboard for training and development.

The home screen is usually the default view when you open the app. If you are on another screen:
Tap the Home icon in the bottom navigation bar
The Home icon usually looks like a house

The home screen is organized into cards, each showing different information. Here is what you may see:
For You Header
At the top of the screen, you will see a personalized header showing:
A greeting with your name
Your next recommended course
A Continue or Start button to jump right into learning
To start learning:
Look at the course shown in the header
Tap the Continue or Start button
The course will open and you can begin
Tip: This section shows the course the app recommends you work on next based on your learning path and progress.

Learning Path Progress Card
This card shows your overall progress through assigned training:
Progress indicator - Shows how many courses you have completed out of the total assigned
Visual progress bar - A quick way to see how far along you are
View button - Tap to see your full learning path
What the numbers mean:
"3 of 10 completed" means you have finished 3 courses out of 10 total assigned courses
When you complete all courses, you will see a celebration!
Overdue Courses Card
Overdue Courses Card
If you have courses that are past their due date, they will appear here:
Shows courses you need to complete urgently
Displays the original due date for each course
Tap any course to open it and start working
Important: Overdue courses should be completed as soon as possible. Your organization tracks this information.
If this card shows "Nothing overdue":
Great job! You are on track with all your deadlines
You can tap the celebrate button to acknowledge your good progress

Completed Courses Card
This card shows courses you have already finished:
Lists your completed courses with completion dates
Shows any credits or points you earned
May show a certificate link if one is available
To view a completed course again:
Find the course in the Completed Courses card
Tap on it to open the course details
You can review the content anytime
To download a certificate:
Look for a certificate icon next to the course
Tap the icon to open your certificate
The certificate will open in your browser where you can save or print it

This card shows courses you have recently interacted with:
Courses you started but have not finished
Recently viewed courses
Easy access to continue where you left off
To continue a recent course:
Find the course in the Recent Courses card
Tap on it
The course will open to where you left off
Push Notification Tip Card

If you have not set up notifications, you may see a card suggesting you enable them:
Notifications help you remember to complete training
Tap the card to go to notification settings
You can dismiss this card after setting up notifications

Throughout the home screen, you will see progress indicators:
Percentage - Shows how much of a course or path you have completed (e.g., "75%")
Progress bar - A visual bar that fills as you progress
Completion badge - A checkmark or "Completed" label for finished items
Overdue badge - A warning indicator for past-due courses

Pull to Refresh
To update the home screen with the latest information:
Pull down from the top of the screen
Release when you see the loading indicator
The screen will refresh with current data
Use this after completing a course to see your updated progress.
Tap to Navigate
Tap any course card to open that course
Tap the Learning Path card to see your full training list
Tap the Settings icon to access app settings
Tap your profile picture to view or edit your profile

If you are new to Carebility, here is how to get started from the home screen:
Look at the For You header - This shows your recommended first course
Tap Continue or Start - Begin your training
Complete the course - Follow the lessons and activities
Return to home - See your progress update on the cards
Repeat - Work through your assigned courses

The home screen is loading slowly
What to try:
Check your internet connection
Pull down to refresh the screen
Close the app completely and reopen it
Wait a moment - large amounts of data may take time to load
I do not see any courses
Possible reasons:
Your organization has not assigned any courses yet
All your courses are completed (check the Completed Courses card)
There may be a loading issue - try pulling down to refresh
What to do:
Contact your administrator if you think courses are missing
Check your Learning Path for a complete list of assignments
My progress is not updating
After completing a course:
Pull down on the home screen to refresh
Wait a few seconds for the data to sync
If progress still does not show, close and reopen the app
Cards are showing errors
If a card shows an error message:
Pull down to refresh the screen
Check your internet connection
The error may be temporary - try again in a few minutes
If the problem continues, contact support
The home screen looks different than before
The home screen may look different based on:
Your device (phone vs. tablet)
Your organization's settings
Feature updates to the app
This is normal and the core functionality remains the same.
