Using the Setting Screen in the Carebility App

This article helps you find and use all the options on the Settings screen in the Carebility app.

How to Open Settings

  1. Tap the Settings icon (gear) or menu option at the bottom of your screen

  2. The Settings screen will open and display all available options


Your Profile

At the top of the Settings screen, you’ll see your name, email address, and profile photo.

To view or edit your profile:

  1. Tap anywhere on your profile card (your name and photo)

  2. This opens your Profile screen, where you can update your information


Workspace (if shown)

If you belong to more than one organization, you’ll see a Workspace option.

To switch workspaces:

  1. Tap Workspace

  2. Select the organization you want to use

  3. Your courses and content will update automatically

Note: If you don’t see this option, you only have access to one workspace. This is expected.


Theme

Change how the app looks by selecting a light or dark appearance.

To change the theme:

  1. Tap Theme

  2. Choose one of the following:

    • System – Matches your phone’s system settings

    • Light – Always uses a bright background

    • Dark – Always uses a dark background (easier on the eyes in low light)


Notifications

To manage notifications:

  1. Tap Notifications

  2. Follow the prompts to turn notifications on or off

  3. If enabled, tap Send Test Notification to confirm they’re working

Tip: Notifications help you stay on track with assigned training.


Biometrics (if shown)

Sign in quickly using your fingerprint or face recognition.

To enable biometric sign-in:

  1. Tap Biometrics

  2. Turn on biometric authentication

  3. Follow the prompts on your device

Note: This option may not appear if your device doesn’t support biometrics or your organization hasn’t enabled it.


Change Password (if shown)

To change your password:

  1. Tap Change Password

  2. Enter your current password

  3. Enter and confirm your new password

  4. Tap Save or Update

Note: If this option is missing, your organization may manage passwords differently (such as single sign-on).


Change Email (if shown)

To change your email:

  1. Tap Change Email

  2. Enter your new email address

  3. Follow any verification steps shown

Note: Some organizations manage email addresses through an HR system. If you don’t see this option, contact your administrator.


AI Settings (if shown)

Customize your AI coach experience. Available options may include:

  • Personality – Choose the coach’s tone (Conversational, Fun and Chipper, or Professional)

  • Response Preference – Choose detailed or concise responses

  • Coach Name – Give your AI coach a custom name

  • Religious Content Preference – Optionally personalize responses with a faith preference

To update AI settings:

  1. Tap the setting you want to change

  2. Make your selection

  3. Settings save automatically (Coach Name requires tapping Save Changes)

Note: If you don’t see AI Settings, your organization may not have enabled this feature.


Language (if shown)

Choose your preferred language for audio and video content.

To change your language:

  1. Tap Language

  2. Select your preferred language

Note: This setting applies when courses offer multiple language options. Not all courses are available in every language.


Support

Get help or contact the Carebility support team.

To access support:

  1. Tap Support

  2. Browse help articles or start a conversation

  3. Describe your issue and a support agent will assist you


About

View app and version details.

To view app information:

  1. Tap About

  2. You’ll see:

    • App name (Carebility)

    • Version number

    • Copyright information


Sign Out

Sign out of Carebility on your device.

To sign out:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen

  2. Tap Sign Out (shown in red)

  3. Tap Sign Out again to confirm

Important: After signing out, you’ll need your email and password to log back in.


Options Not Showing?

Some settings may not appear due to:

  • Organization-level restrictions

  • Device limitations (for example, biometrics)

  • Access to only one workspace

If you believe something should be available and isn’t, contact your administrator or support.

Tap the Help button (question mark icon) in the top right corner of the Settings screen to contact support directly.
