What You’ll See on the Course Details Screen

When you open a course, the Course Details screen displays key information to help you understand the course content and requirements.

Course Information (Top of Screen)

At the top of the screen, you’ll see:

  • Course title – The name of the course

  • Duration – Estimated time to complete the course

  • Difficulty level – Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced

  • Due date – If your organization set a deadline, it will appear here

Course Description

Below the title, the course description explains:

  • What the course covers

  • What you’ll learn

  • Any important details about the training

Preview Image

Many courses include a preview image to give you a visual overview of the training topics or scenarios.

Course Requirements

Some courses include labels or badges that show special requirements, such as:

  • A quiz or test

  • A required passing score

  • Other completion rules set by your organization

Understanding the Chapter List

Courses are divided into chapters, and each chapter includes one or more lessons (also called segments).

Chapter Titles

Each chapter name tells you the topic it covers.

Lessons Within Chapters

Under each chapter, you’ll see individual lessons with:

  • Lesson title

  • Lesson duration

  • A checkmark for completed lessons

  • A play icon for lessons not yet started or in progress

Tracking Your Progress

As you complete lessons, checkmarks appear to help you easily see what’s done and what’s next.

Starting or Continuing a Course

If You Haven’t Started Yet

When opening a course for the first time, look for the Up Next banner at the bottom of the screen. It shows:

  • Your next lesson

  • Lesson length

  • Your current step (for example, “Step 1 of 12”)

To start the course:
Tap the Up Next banner.

If You’ve Already Started

When returning to a course, the Up Next banner will show the next incomplete lesson. Tap it to continue where you left off.

Jumping to a Specific Lesson

You can tap any lesson in the chapter list to:

  • Review completed lessons

  • Skip ahead to a topic

  • Revisit something you missed

Course Completion

How You’ll Know It’s Complete

When all lessons are finished:

  • Every lesson shows a checkmark

  • The course displays as Completed

Retaking a Course

If you open a completed course from the Library (not your Learning Path), you may see a Retake Course option.

To retake a course:

  1. Open the Library

  2. Select the course

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Course Details screen

  4. Tap Retake Course

Note: Retaking a course does not erase your original completion record.

Included Materials

Some courses include extra resources. If available, you’ll see an Included with this course section with:

  • Course manuals (downloadable PDFs)

  • Additional resources or reference materials

Tap an item to open or download it.

AI Disclosure

Some courses include AI-generated content. If applicable, an AI disclosure statement will appear at the bottom of the Course Details screen.

Refreshing Course Information

If progress or details seem out of date:

To refresh:

  1. Pull down from the top of the screen

  2. Release to refresh

  3. Wait for updates to load

Troubleshooting

My progress isn’t showing

Try the following:

  1. Pull down to refresh

  2. Close and reopen the course

  3. Check your internet connection

If needed, try completing the lesson again.

A lesson won’t play

  1. Check your internet connection

  2. Refresh the screen

  3. Close and reopen the app

  4. Try again later

The screen is loading slowly

  • Make sure you have a strong internet connection

  • Move to a better signal area

  • Try using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data

I don’t see the retake option

The retake option only appears when:

  • The course is completed

  • You open it from the Library, not your Learning Path

Tips for Success

  • Review the duration before starting

  • Use chapter titles to understand course flow

  • Jump directly to lessons when reviewing

  • Refresh the screen if progress looks incorrect

  • Download manuals for offline reference
