What Is Haptic Feedback?
Haptic feedback is a gentle vibration your device makes when you tap buttons, toggle switches, or interact with elements in the app. It provides a tactile response to confirm your action.
How to Turn Haptic Feedback On or Off
Open the Carebility app
Tap Settings (gear icon at the bottom of the screen)
Locate Haptic Feedback (below Theme)
Tap the toggle to turn haptic feedback On or Off
On: You’ll feel vibrations when interacting with the app
Off: All Carebility-generated vibrations are disabled
What Changes When Haptic Feedback Is Turned Off?
Turning off haptic feedback disables all vibrations created by the Carebility app, including:
Button press feedback
Selection confirmations
Navigation taps
Celebration effects (such as confetti or completion screens)
Note: This does not affect your device’s overall vibration settings, phone calls, or notifications from other apps.
Your Preference Is Saved
Your haptic feedback setting is saved on your device.
If you share a device, each user’s preference is saved separately when they sign in.
Troubleshooting
“I turned it off, but I still feel vibrations”
Confirm the toggle is set to Off in Carebility Settings
Some vibrations (like keyboard taps or system alerts) are controlled by your device’s system settings, not the app
“I turned it on, but I don’t feel anything”
Make sure your device supports haptic feedback
Check that vibration is enabled in your device’s system settings
On iPhone:
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics
Make sure System Haptics is turned on
On Android:
Go to Settings > Sound
Make sure Touch vibration or Haptic feedback is enabled
