Overview
The Translations section (Casa Loyalty → Translations) lets you manage the language your loyalty program displays to customers. It supports multiple languages across all key areas of the app — from the widget to emails to on-site extensions.
Translation Module Features
Auto-detection (Existing Stores) — For existing stores, the module automatically detects your store's language and creates initial translations for English and your widget language.
Multi-market Support — Add and manage translations for multiple languages and markets. Each language can be independently enabled or disabled to serve different customer segments.
Customization — Edit translations for each language to customize how your loyalty program appears to customers in different markets. Enable or disable languages as needed to control which translations are active.
Adding a Language
Go to Casa Loyalty → Translations.
Click "Add Language".
Select the language from the list.
The language will be auto-translated initially — you can then edit individual strings.
Editing a Translation
Click the pencil icon next to a language to open the translation editor. Inside, you'll find six sub-tabs covering every translatable area of the app:
General — Core program text (points names, general labels)
Widgets — The floating loyalty panel and launcher
Landing — Your loyalty landing page
Nudges — Account creation, points spending, and reward usage nudge text
Notifications — Email notification copy
Extensions — On-site extension text (Points on Product Page, Points on Cart Page, etc.)
Use "Sync Missing Fields" at the top to pull in any new translation keys added since you last synced. Click Save when done.
Managing Languages
The Translations list shows each language, its Translation Type (e.g. "Auto-translated"), and a Status toggle. Toggle a language off to hide it from customers without deleting it. Each language also has a delete icon to remove it entirely.
Important Note on Account Page Translation
The customer-facing account page translation (the text shown in Shopify's native customer account) is a separate, pending feature — it is not yet available. Do not attempt to configure this through Shopify's Checkout Translations settings, as that will not affect Casa Loyalty's account page text. This will be added as a native feature in a future update.
