Learn how Cevoid keeps track of UGC from Instagram

Collecting UGC from Instagram is a quick and easy way to acquire content from your brand community. Cevoid automatically collects all Instagram posts, videos, and Reels your brand has been tagged, hashtagged, or mentioned in, so you can effortlessly pick the best content pieces and use them in your marketing efforts.


Find UGC posts in Cevoid

Once you have connected your Instagram account, you can find all your Instagram UGC under Collect > Instagram.

You can find posts that your team has not taken any action on Under the New posts.

From here, you will see separate tabs for:

  • New posts (Your latest tagged and mentioned posts)

  • Mentions

  • Tagged

  • Hashtags

If you'd like to learn more about a specific post, click it for more details and get a link to the Instagram post.

If you don't want to use a post at all, you can remove it by clicking "X"

If you want to use a post, Click Request

Please note that posts from your brand's Instagram feed will not appear hear, instead they will appear directly in Library > Inbox


Mentioned posts

Here you can see Instagram posts your brand has been mentioned in (e.g., @yourawesomebrand).

Important: Cevoid tracks all mentioned posts from the date you connect your Instagram account.


Tagged posts

Here you can see all Instagram posts your brand has been tagged in.

When you connect your Instagram account, you will find post brand has been tagged in the last twelve months and all future posts. You can at any time go back further than twelve months to import more posts.

Missing a post or can't find it?

Perform an import and select the date that the missing post was created on Instagram. It could be that the post has been tagged after the creation date of the post and therefore the ongoing sync has missed it.

Import more tagged posts

  1. Navigate to Settings > Instagram

  2. Click Import next to Want to import more tagged posts?

  3. Choose how far you want to go back in time you want to import tagged posts

  4. Click Import


Hashtagged posts

Here you can find all hashtags you’re tracking and add new once.

Hashtagged posts are fetched directly from Instagram and you will first be presented with posts from the past 24 hours, and then the Top posts from that hashtag (exactly as the hashtag discovery in Instagram).

To find more posts from a hashtag, simply scroll down to the end and new once will be loaded.

Unlike tagged and mentioned posts, you cannot remove content from the hashtag section


Limit the number of posts you receive with Views

For larger brands, it can be a struggle to keep up all content shared on Instagram content.
To make your life easier, Cevoid offer filters views where you can set specific reqirements for creators to make their posts appear here (e.g. Tag, mention us and use a specific hashtag) you will limit the amount of content that you should review.

creating a filtered view can help you identify specific content shared based on particular parameters, such as a specific campaign. By giving creators specific requirements.

To create a filtered view,

  1. Navigate to Collect > Instagram

  2. Click the “+” sign next to Views

  3. Enter a interal name for your View

  4. Enter the reqirements under User has...

  5. Optional: Enter a hashtag under ...and caption includes

  6. Click Create view, and you’re all set!


See the status of your requests

In the left menu, you can find a Requested tab. This tab gives you an overview of all posts you have sent requests for.

The following statues are available:

Open

Show posts where the creator has not approved or declined your request yet.

Approved

Shows posts where the creator has approved your request. These posts are available in your Library.

Declined

Shows posts from where the creator has declined your request.

Only DM requests that have been declined will appear under Declined since comment requests don't have a way to decline requests


Removed and copyright striked posts

In the left menu, you can find a Removed tab. This tab shows all posts that have been removed by your team (instead of sending requests) and post that have been copyright striked by Instagram.
