When you create a recurring class under 'Class Set Up' or create a one-time class in 'Coaching Schedule' or 'Class Schedule', you have options to create reservation and cancellation windows. As well, you can create a class size limit (class cap).
Class Size Limit (0 for no limit)
If you have a limit (or cap) on how many people can attend your classes, you can set that number here. If you don't have a limit, you can keep this number at 0.
Hours Before Reservation Can Be Made (0 for no limit)
If you want to manage how early your members can reserve for class, you can manage that here. A reason for this might be if a member books out classes 30 days in advance and you have a limit (or cap) on those classes, you might not want them serving that far out in advance and take up space in a class that might not definitively be able to come to. (I mean, life is wild, I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow let alone in 30 days). You'd hate for them to forget to unreserve too. If you don't care, keep it set to 0.
Reservation Cut Off in minutes before class (0 for no limit)
This is the very last possible time members can reserve for class. If you want to give your coaches a heads up of how many to expect for class, you might want to set this a few hours ahead of time. This also help with the Waitlist is you have a class size limit.
Cancellation Cutoff in minutes before class (0 for no limit)
This is the very last possible time a member can cancel for class. If you have a class size limit, reservation windows, a waitlist, and policies that prevent members from cancelling last minute (no show penalty - $x, etc), you might want a window before class that members can't cancel to help prevent people reserving JUST to take a spot in class "in case" they can come.
Allow Wait List
If you want to implement a waitlist because of class size limits, check this box.
Allow Self Check-In
If you want to let members check themselves in on their phone, you can check this box. If a member check themselves in, but doesn't show (maybe to avoid a no show penalty), coaches will be able to mark them as a no show on the Class Schedule.
Class does not count towards membership limits
If you have a charity event, seminar, or a free community class, and don't want the class counting towards any limited memberships, punch cards, or drop ins, you can check this box.
