SOP: Building Assessment Workouts in Workout Programs

Objective:

To effectively create and assign assessment workouts within workout programs for tracking progress and setting benchmarks for clients.

Key Steps:

  1. Create Assessment Category:

    • Start by creating a category labeled "Assessments" within the workout program.

    • This will serve as a template for creating multiple types of assessments for different clients with varying goals.

  2. Build Assessment Workouts:

    • Determine the type of assessment (e.g., strength assessment, movement assessment) and pre-label them accordingly.

    • Decide on the duration of the assessment (e.g., five days with one workout per day or one day with five workouts).

    • Set up each workout as a freeform score to allow clients to input their scores (e.g., reaching the floor, toes, or mid-shin).

    • Encourage clients to add notes detailing any specifics about their performance during the assessment.

  3. Assign Assessments:

    • Assign assessments to specific individuals based on their training program or track.

    • Choose whether to assign assessments individually or to a specific track within the program.

    • Ensure that assigned assessments appear in the clients' workout programs for easy access.

  4. Track Progress and Results:

    • Monitor clients' progress by reviewing their benchmark scores and notes.

    • Edit results if needed and keep track of multiple assessment programs for each client.

    • Remember that assessments assigned to a track must be individually logged by clients to appear in their workout programs.
