SOP: Creating Subscription Memberships and Payment Plans
Objective:
To create a subscription membership and set up different payment plans for billing customers on a recurring interval.
Key Steps:
Navigate to Membership Setup under Administration > Tracks and Memberships.
Click on the "Create Subscription Membership" button.
Create a name for the membership and set the max class reservations per day if needed.
Assign tracks to the membership (e.g., workout of the day track, open gym track).
Configure weekly, monthly, and billing cycle limits for each track if necessary.
Save the membership.
After creating the membership, add payment plans by clicking on the icon under the payment plans column.
Add a new payment plan by providing a name, description, and recurring price.
Set the billing interval and any one-time fees or trial periods if required.
Save the payment plan.
Optionally, create additional payment plans for different customer segments or offer discounts using coupons.
Cautionary Notes:
Double-check all details entered for accuracy before saving.
Ensure that payment plans are set up correctly to avoid billing errors.
Disable purchase options for specific payment plans if necessary to restrict access.
