Setting Up Reviews in Chariot

Chariot makes it easy to collect customer reviews automatically after jobs are completed — and to direct happy customers to post on Google, Yelp, or any other platform you choose. You can now manage all of this yourself directly from Settings.


Configure Your Review Settings

Go to Settings → Customer Reviews Configuration to manage your review setup. From here you can:

  • Turn automated review requests on or off — control whether Chariot sends review requests automatically after jobs are completed

  • Set the send time — choose what time of day the request goes out (sent the day after the job is completed)

  • Add third-party review sites — direct happy customers to post on Google, Facebook, or any other platform by adding their URLs here


How Automated Review Requests Work

When a job is moved to a Completed stage, Chariot sends the customer a review request by email and/or text at the time you've configured. Review requests are only sent during daytime hours.

The customer flow:

  1. The customer receives a review request and rates their experience

  2. If they give a 5-star rating, Chariot immediately directs them to post on your linked third-party sites — skipping the internal feedback step to maximize public reviews

  3. If they give a lower rating, their feedback is captured privately in Chariot but they are not prompted to post publicly


Send a Review Request Manually

You can send a review request at any time from a job's Actions menu — useful for reaching out to a specific customer outside the automated flow. You can also turn off automated emails and texts for individual jobs if the customer has asked not to receive them.


View All Your Reviews

Go to Reports → Customers → Reviews to see all review activity in one place. Filter by date and submission status:

  • Submitted — customer completed a Chariot review

  • Requested, not submitted — request was sent but the customer hasn't responded yet

  • Not requested — no review request has been sent for this job


Summary

  • Manage all review settings yourself from Settings → Customer Reviews Configuration

  • 5-star reviews are sent directly to your linked public review sites to maximize conversion

  • Send manual review requests anytime from a job's Actions menu

  • Track all review activity under Reports → Customers → Reviews
