It depends on the status of your payment. Here's what you need to know:
If the Payment Failed Before Being Sent
If the charge failed and the payment was never transmitted, you're in luck! You can:
Update your card in your dashboard
Re-initiate the payment from your dashboard
Once updated, simply attempt the payment again.
If the Payment Was Already Sent
If the payment was successfully transmitted through the banking network:
❌ It cannot be reversed
❌ It cannot be re-run
In this case, you'll need to either:
Wait for confirmation from your payee that they received the funds, or
Create a new payment if another transfer is required
What If My Payment Is in a Blackout Period?
If your payment is currently within the settlement window (blackout period), edits may not be possible and you may need to wait until processing is fully complete before taking any action.
