How Do I Stop Future Payments to a Payee?

To stop future payments, you must pause or cancel your active subscription.


If It’s a Recurring Payment

To stop future charges:

  1. Go to your Dashboard

  2. Select the active subscription

  3. Click Pause or Cancel

  4. Confirm your action

Once paused or cancelled, no future charges will be initiated.


Important Timing Rules

If your payment is:

  • In a blackout period (within the 4-business-day window)

  • Already processing

It cannot be stopped.

You must wait until processing completes. Changes will apply to the next billing cycle.


If It’s a One-Time Payment

If the payment has already been sent through the banking network:

  • It cannot be reversed

  • It cannot be cancelled

If it has not yet been initiated, you may be able to cancel it from your dashboard.
