Pre-paying lets you fund a series of upcoming payments to your recipient (e.g. your landlord) in one go. You pay Chexy once, and Chexy releases the money to your recipient on your custom schedule — for example, $2,000 on the 1st of each month.

Your card is charged immediately when you finish setting up the pre-payment. The full amount is collected upfront in a single charge — it is not billed in installments as each scheduled date arrives.

Your recipient does not get the full amount right away. Chexy holds the funds and releases them on each respective scheduled date you set — for example, $2,000 on the 1st of each month — rather than all at once.

You can pre-pay up to $10,000 per bill. This limit applies separately to each bill or subscription you have set up with Chexy — so if you're pre-paying rent and utilities separately, each one can be pre-paid up to $10,000.
