Tags are how ClassCover organises teachers according to the subjects they have noted they teach on their teacher profile.

System tags are used in filters across ClassCover such as Find Teachers, My Teachers, Booking Requests and when you post a job via ClassCover Jobs.

System tags are comprehensive and cover all subject areas. This is especially useful for high schools using ClassCover.

Custom tags are where you can create your own and organise your lists accordingly. Custom tags can be used however you like and a great way to group your teachers into segments.

How to create and organise teachers with custom tags

Create and organise teachers into tags from the Manage Tags page

  1. Click on the arrow drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner (where you will see your name and school name).

  2. You will see a list of all tags. There are either custom tags, which are tags the school has created themselves, or system tags, which are automatically created for every school profile by ClassCover.

  3. If you wish to add a tag to a teacher, you can do so by clicking on add teachers (this can only be done individually, you are unable to add multiple tags in bulk to one particular teacher at a time).

  4. If you wish to create a new tag, click on the create a tag button. If you wish to remove a tag, click on the cross icon.

  5. If you wish to change the name of an existing tag, you can do so by clicking on the pencil icon next to 'add teachers'.

Quick add teachers into tags via the My Teachers page

You can quick add teachers to a tag group via your My Teachers page on the web version of ClassCover.

You can choose to add them into system or custom tag groups that you've already created via Manage Tags
