If you have a concern about a casual teacher, either performance or behaviour related, there are a few steps you can take.

1.    Place the teacher in a suspended state from your ClassCover list.

  • Go to 'My Teachers'

  • Find the teacher you need to suspend

  • Click on the cog on the right hand side and click 'suspend'

  • This teacher will no longer appear in your schools booking lists

  • Should you decide to re-engage this teacher again as a teacher at your school, simply click the cog wheel again and select 'Reactivate'

  • Note: Teachers are not notified if you suspend them from your list

2. Sharing feedback about the teacher in a suspended state with other ClassCover administrators at your school:

You can share a teacher profile with other admins within your school via email, and include a note about the teacher.

  • Go to My 'Teachers'

  • Locate the teacher on the list

  • On the right hand side, click the cog icon

  • Click on 'Share'

  • Enter the email address of the school user you would like to share the teachers details with

  • Once the system has identified that the email you are sending to is a verified school user attached to your school, it will allow youi to add in notes / additional information about the teacher.

  • Click 'send profile'

3. If you have major concerns about the casual teacher's conduct, please contact the department’s Employee Performance and Conduct Directorate on 02 9266 8070. Further information is available on the EPAC website.
