When a casual is manually added to your school's list on ClassCover, an incomplete profile is automatically created for them if they do not have an existing ClassCover account. This basic profile includes only essential information such as their name and phone number, allowing them to be booked and managed through ClassCover right away. However, there are certain features and benefits that are unavailable until the teacher completes their profile.
What Does an 'Incomplete Profile' Mean for Schools?
From a school’s perspective, there is little difference between casuals with complete or incomplete profiles – the main difference is that casuals with incomplete profiles will not have their availability updated until their profile is completed.
Casuals with incomplete profiles can still be booked, but schools will not be able to access the casual’s full availability and other key features outlined below.
Note: When you add a casual to your school's list on ClassCover, the system automatically checks if the casual already has an existing ClassCover profile using their contact information. Casuals without an existing profile will be flagged as having an incomplete profile and will receive an invitation to complete their profile.
Benefits of Completing a Casual’s Profile
When a casual completes their profile, they unlock several important features:
View Booking Calendar:
Casuals will be able to view their booking calendar, allowing them to better manage and track their shifts.
Up-to-date Availability:
With a complete profile, casuals can update their availability directly through ClassCover. This helps ensure the casual’s availability is up to date, making them easier to book.
Encourage Casual’s to Complete their Profiles
To ensure casuals have access to all features and benefits, encourage them to complete their profiles. You can do this by messaging them via ClassCover or speaking to them the next time you see them in person. The casual can update their profile by logging into ClassCover and adding the following:
Teaching qualifications and credentials.
Availability for upcoming shifts.
Contact information and any other required details.
