You can now organise your lists into Smart Groups by setting Preferred and Backup Lists for each class, role type or any other instance where you need to group people into a category.
Smart Groups will not only provide you with better organisation, but also improve efficiency with the booking processes.
How Smart Groups can automate bookings
Once a Smart Group has been created, it can then be selected when placing a booking which pre-fills the short list with the Preferred List as well as the class and teacher being covered.
From here, you can also select the Backup List and choose how long until the Backup List is triggered after the Preferred List has been sent.
Emergency List has been released alongside Smart Groups
As part of the Smart Group feature release, we've also introduced Emergency List to the booking flow. If all else fails to bring in a result, school's can now opt to have a booking request go to everyone on the school's list who might be available to work or choose to send to a selected group by filtering subjects and year levels.
When enabled, the booking request will automatically go out 30mins after the last person from the invite list received their request! This includes Backup List if selected.
Tags have been retired and replaced with Smart Groups for better management
Schools that have been using custom tags, will have those custom tags created as smart groups with the teachers automatically added to them.
