This feature is designed to enable schools to make a booking when they know they have a vacancy, but don’t yet know the specific class or teacher that will need covering. Here’s what Flexi Booking means and why it’s a great tool for both schools and casuals.

A Flexi Booking is a regular booking, just missing some details - for example, the class, year level, or teacher needing cover. This is not an oversight; it’s a placeholder to let you know that these details are pending and may be updated closer to the booking date. Schools are encouraged to update the booking information as soon as they have it, so keep an eye on your calendar as these details may appear before your scheduled booking.

Before we launched Flexi Bookings, some schools were creating booking requests that were missing details like the teacher and year level to be covered. These bookings created confusion among casuals and often went unfilled.
