Setting Up Trial Memberships

You can now create and assign trial memberships to your members in Clubworx!

Trial memberships make tracking your new members easy

Trial memberships are just like regular memberships, but they give you more control when onboarding new customers.

You'll be able to manage your trialling members in places like:

  • Building custom reports, and sending bulk messages

  • In Automations, for example when a trial membership is starting, or coming to an end

  • In the Active Member dashboard report

You can toggle a membership's "trial" status at any time, so it's easy to change an existing membership to a trial membership (or vice versa) at any time.

To set up your trial membership:

  1. Head to Settings > Memberships

  2. Set up your membership as you would normally do here, when setting up an upfront payment membership

  3. Include expiry dates and restrict class access to your event type, where applicable

  4. Check Is this trial membership plan? setting

    When the trial membership has been added, you'll see the trial status on the member's profile:
