Class Kiosk QR code functionality

If you are using the Clubworx branded app or a Custom branded app, your members can now access an event page via a QR code.

When an event’s QR code is scanned, it will open the event in the member’s mobile app. From there, they can perform a proximity check-in or book into the event (if bookings are still open).

Please Note: Scanning the QR code does not automatically book or check a member into an event — it simply directs them to the event page.


In this article, you’ll learn how to:


  1. Set up your event to allow QR code check-in from kiosk mode

    Once your event is created, make sure the following settings are configured:

    1. Go to General Settings > Event appears in > Class kiosk mode

    2. Toggle Allow proximity check-in? to On

    When Allow proximity check-in is toggled on, the Allow QR code check-in from class kiosk? setting will automatically be set to Yes.


Print your event QR code

  1. Go to your Event > View

  2. Under Allow QR code check-in from class kiosk?, click Print

  3. Set your preferences to create a printable page with the QR code

    • You can choose to print the code for a specific event or for today’s next event

  4. Choose which event details to display

  5. Click Update Settings

  6. Select Print


Access the Class Kiosk QR code functionality from kiosk mode

  1. Navigate to Class Check-in

  2. Click on the event you want to bring up the QR code for

  3. Select Mobile app check-in in the top-right corner

A QR code will appear on the screen. Members can scan this code using the mobile app to:

  • View the event page

  • Book, cancel, or check in to the event
