What Is Proximity Check-In?
Proximity Check-In allows you to link an address to your class locations. When a member is within a defined range of that address and booked into one of your classes, they’ll have the option to check in directly from their booking via the Member app.
Proximity Check-In can be used alongside Class Kiosk and Roll Call check-ins—giving your members multiple ways to mark their attendance.

Member check-in process
1. Set Up Your Event Locations
Go to Settings > Mobile App
Navigate to Proximity Check-In > Event Locations
Click + New to add a new event location
2. Set Up Proximity Check-In Addresses
Go to Proximity Check-In > Proximity Check-In Addresses
Click + New to add a new check-in address
Enter your gym or location address, choose a name for this location, and Confirm Address
Navigate back to Proximity Check-In
Select a street address for each location and enable Proximity Check-In status by selecting an address under the Street Address column
Note: Only one street address can be added per location.
3. Set up Proximity Check-in: Event defaults
To enable proximity check-in for all events:
Go to Proximity Check-In > Event Defaults
Choose whether proximity check-in is switched on or off by default
Update your default settings for existing events - You have the option to enable or disable Proximity Check-in for all events
4. Enable proximity check-in for individual events via the Calendar
When adding an event to your calendar, you can also enable or disable Proximity Check-in individually. The settings will automatically align with the location you’ve assigned to each event.
5. Member check-in process
When a member arrives at the facility, they simply need to open the app, go to their Booked events, tap on the event and tap the Check-In button.
Tapping the green Check-In button will mark the member as attended.
